the Master Plan
The founders of eQuinelle started down a path of research, discovery and enlightenment that has resulted in one of the most innovative and desirable communities the region has ever seen.
the course
The eQuinelle has been designed as a Par 72, championship-calibre, semi-private golf course that will have all the attributes of a high-end, state-of-the-art facility, including bentgrass greens, tees and fairways. Five sets of tee decks will vary the yardage from a challenging 7,100 yards to a more comfortable 5,200.
The course will test all players, from those at the competitive level to beginners, but an abundance of shots that are both demanding and energizing will tempt and exhilarate even those who are at the top of their game. Numerous risk-reward shots over water and marshlands (on holes 1, 7, 8, 9, 18) will entice those who love to gamble. Risk-takers beware: water hazards will swallow most errant shots.
Many fairway zones are framed with strategically placed bunkers that will require all players, including the most experienced, to carefully think their club selection and shot strategy. A handful of challenging holes and the need to make numerous strategic decisions will cause even seasoned golfers to pause for thought.
Elevated tees and stadium holes with fairways and greens encircled by berms on holes 1, 9, 10, 13 and 18 bring an heroic shot element and amphitheatre setting to the golfing experience, most memorably on 18.
Contoured greens on several holes will collect and direct perfectly placed shots toward target pin positions similar to PGA tour courses and Augusta National's famous 16th hole, which has challenged some of the world's greatest players.
